*BEWARE OF THE ONE ENTRANCE CLOSE TO THE WAFFLE HOUSE, IT WILL TEAR UP YOUR BASIC CARS!* I have a 2017 Subaru Legacy and I thought the bumper would be torn off when I tried to go out it. Use the other driveway by the lobby or the one closer to the Waffle House.
I was really surprised to see that they had hbo channels in the room, and I love watching tv so... excellent stay. Bedding and pillows really comfy too.
Pet friendly! Very important for our trip.
Initially we were put in the last pet friendly room and when we arrived, we put all our stuff in the room then realized there was no fridge or microwave. I asked the front desk how we can get them and the lady started ranting that she's not lifting a fridge to move it to another room and she's not housekeeping so now she can't sell the room we're in, also they aren't required to provide the microwaves. She also felt it necessary to share her medical history for why she won't move the fridge I never asked her to. She reluctantly gave us a new room, not pet friendly but made the exception, and resold the room we had after I assured her that the room was in perfect shape since all we did is set things down on the floor and table/counter space. Now, the new room has BOTH a fridge and a microwave. Weird how one room had neither. We settled in very nicely. There are food options everywhere, some within walking distance of the hotel.
Down sides: cramped bathroom, no book for guests to see what's local or when the free breakfast is available, all lighting is basically lamps, NO available OUTLETS! We had 2 open ones behind the bed that didn't work. We had one across the room by the AC unit and one on the other side by the sink. WiFi sucks, I can't stay connected to it for more than 10 minutes without it not connecting properly, wasn't labelled as Days Inn but Omni 5 and Omni 6. Shower head was very low. I am about 5'6", it came to my chin. I had to twist and turn and bend over to wash my hair more than usual.
Clean rooms. Tv is small beds are comfortable but overall good stay
If we had to come back, we just might. But I'd rather try my luck at another place first.
We were traveling from Texas back to Missouri and decided to find a place to stop overnight and rest. This Days Inn fit all of our needs, including rooms that accepted animals, so we booked two rooms for our group. The rooms were decent and fairly clean. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good, and included hot items like sausage, eggs, and waffles. There was an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it because it rained most of the time we were there. The only problem we had was that the wifi wasn't working, but that's a small issue really.
Earns 1 star because I can't go lower! Terrible shape, not kept up, no service. We arrived early, they couldn't help store luggage, so we had to rent an additional day at 6 in the morning. Over 4 days, we had zero maid service. The business computer wouldn't turn on & I was told the printer was broken anyways. The hot tub was half full of scummy water...not functional. Overall, terrible.
